Building better construction businesses: introducing patriot construction solutions

When I started Patriot Construction Solutions (PCS), it wasn’t because the construction industry needs another consultant with generic advice. It was because I’ve been there.
I’ve seen the frustration on a PM’s face when they don’t have the tools or systems to keep a job on track. I’ve seen small companies lose the family feel that made them special as they grow. I’ve watched owners burn out trying to hold everything together without scalable processes.
PCS was born to solve those problems.
Who I Am
My name is Chris. I’ve spent my career, over 20 years, in the construction world—not just managing projects, but leading teams, improving operations, and making sure good people don’t get crushed under bad systems.
I’m also a Captain in the U.S. Army Reserve (over 13 years enlisted and over 11 years as an officer), where planning, leadership, and accountability aren’t buzzwords—they’re daily requirements.
My mission with PCS is simple: help construction businesses get organized, grow sustainably, and keep that close-knit culture that made them successful in the first place.
What PCS Offers
Patriot Construction Solutions isn’t a one-size-fits-all “coaching” gig. It’s about getting in your business with you to build systems that work.
Our services are designed for owners who want:
A Blueprint Business Review that gets to the root of operational chaos.
An Ops Accelerator to implement systems that scale without killing your company’s personality.
A Field Leader Boot Camp that actually turns foremen, PMs, and leads into reliable managers.
A Marketing and Brand Jumpstart to help you stand out and attract the right clients and employees.
If you’re tired of bandaids and want your business to run right, PCS is built for you.
What to Expect from This Blog Series
This blog isn’t going to be fluff.
I’m going to share:
✅ Real-world strategies for streamlining operations.
✅ Best practices for scaling without losing your culture.
✅ How to train field leaders who actually lead.
✅ Marketing tips that work in construction, not just online hype.
✅ Hard-earned lessons from the field, and from the Army.
My promise? Every post will offer something you can use immediately, whether you’re a 5-person shop or a 100-person company trying to stay lean and accountable.
Why It Matters
The trades are full of talented people who deserve better systems. Better training. Better leadership.
